Every year, millions of MP3 players are discarded across Canada. TerraCycle® is putting an end to this awful loss of resources. For each approved MP3 player received, your Collection Location will be awarded two hundred and fifty TerraCycle points which can be redeemed for a variety of charitable gifts or for a payment of $2.50 to the non-profit organization or school of your choice. To participate in the MP3 Player Brigade®, sign up online and you can start collecting MP3 players immediately (collect them from your family, friends, classmates, fellow teachers - anyone). Once you collect at least 10 MP3 players, put them in a reused shipping container or box, attach a pre-paid shipping label that you can print off of your profile on the TerraCycle website, and then call UPS for pick up, 1 800 PICK UPS, or drop it off at your nearest UPS drop off centre. MP3 player power cords will also be accepted through the Brigade, but you will only receive payment for MP3 players.
